Avis M. Adams loves the Pacific Northwest and lives near Forest Park in Portland, Oregon, and she loves to write. She has two YA novels published, The Incident and The Disappearing Names, released from The Wild Rose Press. I love to write poetry, and Quilcene, my first chapbook was published by Finishing Line Press. I belong to the Baker Street Writers Group, and the Birds of a Feather Writers, and am an active member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and the Willamette Writers. I have taught English for almost thirty years, most of them at Green River College, and I enjoy presenting sessions on writing craft at local conferences. In my spare time, I hike, kayak, cross-country ski, and take long walks in Forest Park. But mostly, I love to write.
