Anne lives in the East Yorkshire town of Beverley, where her not-so-cosy crime novels are set. When she’s not busy reading, Anne loves spending time in her garden, listening to her husband play the piano or travelling in search of places frequented by Agatha Christie, who is her literary heroine. Anne’s first ‘Twist in the Tale’ novel, ‘The Botanist’, was awarded a ‘Chill with a book’ award, and her second, ‘The Soloist’ was awarded the cosy mystery of the year award in 2022. Although a fan of detective novels, Anne prefers to write from the perspective of her protagonists who are quirky, intelligent and usually up to no good.
